We live in a southern state and the temps in the greenhouse have been inordinately high, so I decided to add a roll up side to the greenhouse in our Free DIY Plans. So here are couple pics with brief instruction in case you decide to add similar to an existing greenhouse, or one built from out plans.
Here is a picture gallery to begin with for clarity:

Simply, we attached 5/4 decking board to the outside of greenhouse hoops with pipe hanger straps. Notice, we erred and had a size too large, but simply flattened them a bit and then pulled them tight with carriage bolts. The smooth carriage bolt head on the outside works well against the plastic, though you may need to hold the head with vise grips while tightening the nut to prevent spinning.
At the end walls, we did NOT mount the decking board on the outside, but used chain link tensioning straps routed UNDERNEATH the wiggle wire channel! Again, carriage bolts were used with smooth head against plastic. Where boards meet end to end, we tacked a supporting lap board to the inside. Not pictured.
We put wiggle wire channel on the outside, then lapped the lowe plastic UNDER the upper/top plastic so water would run off. Then we glued togetehr a 2″ x 34′ section of foam core PVC pipe and taped the plastic to it and rolled it UNDER, again, so it will not act as a gutter and catch rainwater, but rather will allow for runoff.
Lastly, using what was handy, I fabricated four swinging hooks to hang the long, but light, roll of plastic on. My solution was the end sections of barbed wire rolls, though any suitably strong metal could be used… These will hang under the 5/4 decking in the winter season, but will flip under the roll as shown when sides are up… I would guess there are a dozen ways to skin this cat… Use your imagination. Three of the following four items are possible solutions if you are short on creative genius… 😉
